When an item is labeled "water-resistant," it means it can repel water to a certain degree but not completely.
Over time, all metals, including gold, can tarnish. Authentic gold and silver pieces can be restored to their original condition with cleaning. However, gold-plated items lack this ability. They are only partially water-resistant and not fully waterproof.
When we say our jewelry is waterproof, we mean it offers a higher degree of water resistance compared to other cheap jewelry on the market. While most of our jewelry lasts for a good period of time, however we don't make any long-term commitments. You can check out our jewellery care guide here
